It depends on how much you want to spend. J&J's are popular among tippmans because of the low maintance the barrel requires. You could also get any of the smart parts one's for that $30 price. If you want to spend more kits and other stuff are available.

I've got a smart parts progressive (newer version) and really like it. Can't remember if mine is the 12 inch or 14 inch version. At $30 it's pretty quiet and great value IMO.

I have to agree with Kaz. I did a lot of asking and reading and finally went with the J&J S2 14inch ceramic barrel. Its performance is phenomenal comared to the stock barrel. I am sure that for a premium price you can find a better barrel, but I doubt you can find one better than the J&J for the price.

Love my J&J's.

...For the price/performance ratio of course.
And they're a dust black color that matches the gun's finish pretty well.

Don't overspend, it'll always be a Tippmann from the barrel threads backwards.

Flatlines aren't that bad. I like them in some situations.

I would suggest a JJ performance barrels they are a good brand and worked with me for a while
