how do i put my front bolt onto my power tube

my gun wasn't shooting balls and everything was set-up right for it to shoot, so i took off my barrel and my front bolt had gotten stuck in the end of it exposing the power tube. I was wondering if anyone had experience on how to re-attach the front bolt (the black rubber part with an o-ring on it) to the power tube. Any help is much appreciated. thank you

by the way i have a tippmann 68 carbine and i have hardly any experience taking apart my gun but im willing to do whatever it takes to fix it.

i also may be missing my linkage arm i took off my sight turned the gun over and nothing came out

Best thing to do would be post a pict of how it's stuck so that we can see what has happened and give some good advice.

How ever if it's just the o-ring on the bolt it will not hurt to take it off the bolt so that it will not jam again.

But if it the the linking bar and that bolt that have come disconnected check to see if the bolt is damaged.

Yes your missing the linking bar that connects the hammer/striker in the back to the bolt in the front. You also missing the rear sight piece. this is used to keep the linking bar in the gun. take a look at page 10 and 11 in the manual to see what I am talking about.

will i need to take it to a shop to get ther linkage arm installed or can i do it myself?

you can install the arm your self. It should just about drop in and connect the hammer and the front bolt. just make sure that the front bolt has the small hole pointing up.

Asa for the rubber bit, the linkage arm will hold it in place.
