E-grip wire problems

I just got a tippmann alpha black with the e-grip mod, after a day of use, I opened it to clean the internals and the wires attached to the e-grip board and trigger were severed. Should I just solder it or can I get it repaired or replaced by Tippmann?

If you can solder well, you should be fine, just make sure to insulate the exposed wire.

If you aren't so sure, go to a local paintball pro-shop or field and have them fix it

Not AZN level price, there's not too many electro markers priced at the same level as the Talon.

Best bet is to contact Tippmann before you try to fix it your self. If not just make sure that you use heat shrink tubing to insulate any of the wire that you are soldering.

I had the exact same problem. Wpod of advise, BE AS CAREFUL AS YOU CAN THOSE WIRES ARE VERY FRAGILE! I just got down soldering all mine back together. I owuld solder the broken one, but then another would break. You cant use a normal solder iron, it has to have a fine tip. They sell them at local hardware stores, and such. I would do it yourself if you feel you can handle it.
