Pro/Carbine internals

Are pro/carbine internals the same as A-5 or 98? I'd like to upgrade my internals, but VERY few items are listed as being compatible with the pro/carbine. Any input appreciated!

If the Pro/Carbine has the CVX valve, related parts should be the same.

If it has the floating valve, not so much.

It's been a while. Barring the appearance of a pro/carbine owner coming in here, MCB might be able to help out.

How do I know if it has a CVX valve? What does that mean? What is MCB? Thanks for the response.

If the valve has 2 pins (one of the front and one on the back) it is a floating valve. These are found more often in the Carbides, FA, and 68 specials then the later Pro/Carbides

If the valve had 1 pin on the back it is a CVX valve.

As for size the Carbide valves are smaller in diameter then the 98 and the A-5/X-7 valves. how ever alot of the internals are similar
I might have an example of both style valves if I dig threw the part bins at work.
