by "shop" do you mean a field? im assuming your in the states, where exactly? sounds almost like the pac. northwest, im up in washington. most places around here run co2 without problem, one place ran HPA for a bit untill the tanks started disapearing off of the rental markers. you may want to run co2 but keep a few HPA tanks around for those really cold days, chances are you will not have too many people playing on those days so if you only have a handfull of HPA tanks you will be fine. your going to need a compressor so you can allow people to fill HPA tanks, thats what will really set you back, get one that will fill to 5000 or 6000 psi, and youll need some 50lb tanks to put that air in ready to fill the HPA tanks. of corse locking all this up is also important, a lot of places just use a cargo container, simple and effective

Edit: horray for post 4001! am i over the hill yet?

Hahah congrats

Im in eastern canada, and yes i mean im opening a field. It will be all outdoor, only open summers as I do seasonal work during winters. There are none withing a few hundred km's of me. If co2 wont cause cause grief then itll work. At first its all about keeping it cheap. The cheaper i can get it the cheaper i can give it.

This is the best deal i've found so far 10 Gun Tippmann 98 Custom Field Package, Field Rental Gun Packages at Paintball Discounters

that set looks pretty good honestly, everything you need except for a couple of 50lb co2 tanks and the work to make a field. i would recomend you mark them somehow so its easy to see they are rentals and people will not get them confused with their own 98c. if your going to offer co2 only just make sure that on your advertisements or site you say that so people running HPA can plan accordingly. i think you should be ok with co2 up there, what do you think the low temperature will be durring the summer?

o and make sure to stock up on o rings

Badlands offers some nice field packages it might be worth giving them a call before you get hammered on the exchange and shipping charges.
