New A-5 owner question on upgrades

Recently purchased a stock A-5 and have already ordered a remote line and a stock as I dont like using the tank as a stock. I have also looked into a 14' barrel either J&J or Custom Products after reading through the message boards and seeing this recommendation over a 16' barrel. After that though, I am a little unsure on what should be upgraded/added next.

I read about an expansion chamber but haven't had much success on locating a brand or model aside from an M14 mag expansion but almost all that ive looked up are coming in packages with a barrel and stock and id prefer to not spend the money on that package when I am already getting a barrel. Any brand or model suggestions would be greatly apprecaited.

I am a casual woodball player and I am looking for suggestions on additional upgrades (maybe even brand if that is possible) that is worth performing on the a-5 to really help the guns performance. If it helps I have more of laid back play style approach and not a run around and spray and pray mentality.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and I apologize if I am duplicating a post. I tried to skim through as far and as much as possible.

If you are using CO2 and a remote an expansion chamber wont do anything more for you the remote gives plenty of room for liquid CO2 to expand. There are countless upgrades for an A5 and they are so easy to buy and install that it has become known as the "Tippmann upgrade treadmill". Basically players buy an A5 pour a ton of money into it chasing better performance and then sell it at a loss to buy something better. A new barrel is about all they really need especially if you are just a casual player. When you start wanting better performance it pays off in the long run to save up for something better.

I actually was thinking that the remote line should function like an expansion chamber but I didn't want to assume.

Ive read about tons of upgrades and to be quite honest, it is a little overwhelming trying to decide what is and is not really necessary. Examples that I am not sure about would the trigger as ive read about a double trigger and e-grip and I was also curious about sights and sight rails as well as I haven't actually read to much in the way of recommendations for those.

Nothing but a new barrel is really necessary for an A5. The Egrip works but costs around $130 which is the price of a decent electronic Spyder. Rails and sights are just for looks a paintball doesn't travel like a bullet so if one happens to land where your sight says it will is more due to luck than anything else. Bolts and powertubes don't do anything and some even hurt performance. The Cyclone upgrades do what they say they will but are only needed with an Egrip and when you add those costs together you can start to see what I mean by just buying a better marker.

Thanks for the advice. Think I will stick with the barrel upgrade and some small comfort upgrades for now. Greatly appreciate the insights.

ya if you want more performance upgrading a honda civic to run a 10 second quarter mile is going to be a lot more expensive than buying something that can do it stock, after you get the stuff thats on the way and a barrel (im partial to the J&J ceramic, fantastic barrel at $30) if you want more performance its time to look into a mid level marker
