Question

Is it true when you handle paint constantly it becomes more brittle? For example, I put a bag (no box) of paint in my gear bag and some of the equipment might have rubbed or scratched the paint. Please help me out guys

iv never heard of that but i have the feeling it would be more likely to fail rather than be more brittle not to mention some of it im sure would have some fun dimples and flats

i think it would only become brittle if you were to manage to get the oily film off the outside of all of the paint. that would allow the shell to almost completely dry out (still moisture inside) and become brittle.

of course the plus side to this is maybe you could experiment and see if a brittle shell would leech moisture out of the paint itself therefore making it thicker and harder to wipe [/joke]

iv heard of people trying to make low end paint more brittle and last i heard was the only way to do it was to spend enought money on chemicals that basically would just make your box of low end brittle paint as expensive or more expensive than the high end tourny stuff. and even if you did manage that it still wouldnt be as accurate
