Tippman Alpha Black e-trigger not shooting correctly

I just added the e-trigger to my Tippmann Alpha Black. The install went ok but when I go to shoot, even on Semi it fires air like it is on full auto. On Semi the gun fires only one ball per trigger pull like it should but the air is going as fast as it would if I was on full auto.

Any thoughts?

Sorry I know it is confusing....

So when the gun is set to semi and I pull the trigger once, one paintball comes out; however, if I continue to hold down the trigger it will continue to fire air at a rate like it was on full auto.

In other words something is causing the gun to keep firing air when the trigger is being held down when the gun is in semi fire mode.

are you low on air?

Is the grip frame tightly against the body? it sounds like the sear may not b catching.

Not low on air. Tested with a full tank. I will check the sear and let you know.

If anyone else has this issue I figured it out thanks to someone on another forum. It was the metal part on the trigger that needed to come off. I took it off and it works just fine. I watched the Hustle Paintball video install on Youtube and there was no mention of taking off the metal from the trigger. Not only that but they still show it on there when closing up the gun.

After taking it off it is obvious that the metal part was hitting the seer and that was what was causing the issue.

Thanks all!
