New player/gun

I'm relatively new to PB and got a 98C (non-ACT) for my bday. Is the lack of ACT a make or break? I would be more expensive to return and repurchase the ACT one, just some extra info.

~thanks

ACT isn't that big of a deal just get a forcefeed loader and you won't even notice a difference.

Any recommendations on a model? something that will still be decent down the road with a better marker while not being $100+

They are all 100% exactly the same on the inside. the onyl difference is added plastic or, in the case of an A5, a cyclone hopper.

except the pehnmom, which is more or less an automag.

I'm slightly confused by that response, I meant for a loader. I obviously won't need a 20+ bps hopper but am still looking for something decent. Is the Tippmann ssl any good? Or would I be better off with an 18v fasta?

oh a loader? i thought you were talking about tippmans.

pick up a halo too, they're the most affordable forcefed hoppers. they're solid as well.

I'd also suggest the Viewloader evulution 4 egg. Its $40 bucks and I say a pretty good deal, but you can't go wrong with a Halo Too from what I hear.

egg4 is a $30 savings but is back heavy and has a small mouth

halo too is more expensive but has none of the above issues

your choice
