How to turn co2 tank around?

Hello all! After several months of borrowing a friends marker, I finally sprung for a Tippman 98 Custom. Problem is, I hate how the co2 tank gets in the way when I bring the gun up to ADS. Is there any way, either premade or fabricated, to turn the tank around on the handle (so when the barrel is aimed at the groun, the bottom of the tank is down)?
Thanks in advance!

you should be able to just unscrew the ASA and flip it around. I believe they call it "island style" or "california style"

What Martix said should work. Depending on the set up though, you may need to buy a new steel hose or longer macroline.

My question for this guns owner, "how many hands do you have?"

What ever happened to using the tank as a stock against your shoulder?

Definetly martix! Cheaper than buying an actual stock, less comfy though. It's kinda to bad there really isn't an ADS in paintball, it's more like LDG (look down gun) when your wearing a mask. I've never played with my tank on like that but if that's your style normally it's pretty easy to do

A better question would be why use an expansion chamber connected to a stabilizer? First it isn't needed since the stabilizer makes the expansion chamber redundant and second you would actually hurt the performance of the CO2 coming out of the regulator. I can only imagine the guys thought process being something like expansion chamber=good and stabilizer=good so both=gooder.

thats why they make butt stocks for co2 tanks

it will kind of work on a 98, the problem is the bottom of the grip frame on 98s is not flat it is angled (which is also why you need a mounting block for standard ASAs as well) so the tank will not sit level but will be pointing up (outlet up)

flipping the tank is called island style or Hawaiian style. I have never heard Californian style

California style is different its where you mount the tank under a stock. At first it doesn't make sense but when you remember that a stock wasn't always shaped like a real gun stock and was instead something simple like a T-stock or wire stock it's easier to understand.

on speedball guns its not bad i just meant on a lot of tippmann's and other guns with the same style you can't really look down the sights at all, my solution: just shoot more, i think it's legit lol. you don't need to be more accurate you just need to shoot more

the solution is aim down the side like you are supposed to

aiming over the top does not always work in paintball because of the drop in elevation often means the barrel is blocking your view of your target, aiming down the side allows your to always see your target, use the barrel as a line of reference and you keep yourself in a more compact position since you do not have to crane your neck over to get on top of your marker

or maybe you've learned how your marker shoots, and you can adjust to it. paintballs don't travel fast enough to use any sort of sites for more than maybe 30 feet.
