depends on where you are, paint is produced regionally. if you have a shop near you go talk with them and see what they suggest

one side note, the cyclone is fairly brutal on paint, "good" paint typically has a weak shell which helps it break easier on a person but because you have a cyclone some paints will not be a good idea as they may not survive the trip through the cyclone. I have seen some on and off results with RPS premium (I am a large fan of RPS paints but it really depends on where you are as some people have great batches of premium and others do not) but its largely going to be trial and error to find a paint that will work good for the cyclone but will also give you good results once it leaves the barrel

depends on the age and grade of the Marbs.

Paint changes with age and distribution region.

Older marbs may end up soupy. Newer marbs may end up soupy. Marbs that have been sitting for a month may end up just fine.

Same breath - Older marbs may be just fine, Newer marbs may be just fine. Month old marbs may end up as soup. There are too many factors in place to say "yeah -this should work". Unfortunately - you're going to have to spend the cash and try it.

In the mid-west, I've seen a lot of people successfully use DXS Silver & Valken Redemption Pro in their A5's with cyclones.

Then the answer there is :

Whatever box looks the cleanest, nicest, isn't dinged up, and the shelf has the least amount of dust surrounding the box.

Paint in a Dick's or Sportmart is usually purchased from the vendor and then sent to the distribution centers, and then the stores.

Speaking from experience - there's a store you all likely have gone to that my company supplies - that has a 1 month "vendor->store" turn time.

So - your paint is probably, minimum, 1 month old. From there - Paintballs arent' the best selling item at a store. Soo...they sit on a shelf and collect dust, waiting for someone to buy them. The store won't throw them out becaue that's lost profits.

So - try to use logic and reasoning to identify which box is the most fresh. That's the one to buy.
