Don't listen to him about the red locktite. use blue. Red is a super ***** if you ever need to remove the parts.

This is the one I have with the chamber the line and the lil fitting. My A5 is one of the newer ones so I can't use the fitting. And when I go to put the line on the part u put the co2 tank on the line is to small it won't thread in to it

Your braided hose has the wrong threads for the chamber that you have? does it fit onto the ASA?

your expansion chamber and hose don't happen to be made for a spyder, do they? Spyders use metric threads and tippman uses standard threads.

No it is the Tippmann one. The chamber will go on the gun but when I go to put the hose on the ASA it don't fit

I'd contact tippman and see what they tell you. It sounds to me like your braided hose and ASA don't have the same threads. I guess you could buy an ASA for cheap, but that feels like a waste of money unless it's absolutely necessary.

What would be batter the chamber or a remote line. I have talked to Tippmann they said that there expansion chamber is for the old A5 and the new A5 ASA is bigger were the hose goes it. And the expansion chamber is not made no more

so just replace the ASA. get a nice on/off while you are at it, that should solve the problem

also not buying a tippmann next time, that will solve it as well

I got the chamber to fit but with the fitting I need it made the hose stick out to the side of the marker because with the fitting it made the hose a lil long. Will it hurt my marker

I know pictures can be....misinterperated - but it looks like your piece of braided hose is a bit too long.

Since I don't have a metric for how long it is and what's available in the market - do they make segments shorter than 6 inches?

Ultimately - it should function just fine. I'm just worried about having it catch on something while running. You'll need to watch to make sure your hand is clear in 2 planes, not just one.

Just thought I'd add my $0.02 to this as well: This place isn't very big anymore, and breaking up conversations into multiple threads when issues are hashed elsewhere and continued in a second thread can be cumbersome (as seen with your hopper questions). I don't think any of us would mind if you were just to continue your stream of questions in one of your existing threads .
