i was just messing around in my backyard with some of my friends leftover mosterballs and they were BOUNCING off of the plywood target that i was shooting at. it wasn't just one or two of them either. 80% of the time they bounced if they did hit the target. I was pretty lucky to hit the man sized target form 30 ft away. i hit my house more often than not.

Try a drop test with monster ball drop the ball from about 6' catch it on the first bounce then drop again till it breaks
tourney paint will break around 1-4 bounces

after testing about 30 balls of monster after about 30 bounces i decided it was good for shooting @ just about nothing the vi i use breaks about 6-10 bounces good for rec ball.

i baught them super swirl balls and they werent to bad for just playing with friends but when it comes to big time stuff i always buy marballizer

Nelson Hotspots are pretty good balls. You can get a 2000 case for $30. Strykers break pretty well to, but they dont shoot as straight.
